If you are experiencing issues viewing our site please read the information on this page, if none of these solutions work for you please contact us through email staff@helpourfriend.org. In your email tell us what operating system you have and what browser you are using.
- For PC users viewing the page with Internet Explorer 7.
1. Make sure you have the flash plugin installed. If not click here to download and install the latest flash plugin for IE.
2. Make sure you do not have the flash plugin add-on disabled.
A. In the IE main menu, go to Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons...
B. From the drop down menu select 'Downloaded ActiveX Controls'
C. Make sure the 'Shockwave Flash Object' Add-on is enabled.
D. Click ok to close the Manage Add-ons window and see if the problem persists viewing the site.
3. Make sure you do not have your security settings blocking the page.
A. In the IE main menu, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab
B. Make sure your 'Security level for this zone' slider is set to Medium-High and press ok.
(If your Security level is set to High it will disable ActiveX controls which are required to view the page.)
C. Alternatively if you want to keep your 'Security level for this zone' slider set to high, you must click the 'Custom level...' button and scroll down in the list to the option 'Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins' and set it to 'Enable' and press ok.
D. Press the Apply button on the Internet Options window and press the Ok button to close the window. See if the problem persists viewing the site.
- For PC or Mac users viewing the page with Firefox 3
1. Make sure you have the flash plugin installed. If not click here to download and install the latest flash plugin for Firefox.
2. Make sure you do not have the flash plugin add-on disabled.
A. In the Firefox main menu, go to Tools > Add-ons.
B. Click on the Plugins button at the top of the Add-ons window.
C. Make sure you have not disabled the plugin titled 'Shockwave Flash', if so enable it.
D. Close the Add-ons window and see if the problem persists viewing the site.
- For Mac users viewing the page with Safari
